What does ElyPC do?
ElyPC is a customer friendly computer service company. ElyPC operates as an OEM computer manufacturer and computer repair company.
Why does ElyPC offer only Email support unless I pay extra?
ElyPC strives to keep our computer system costs low, and we are able to do this by cutting out high overhead costs, including the cost of having a full time phone support staff. Not to worry though. ElyPC answers all inquiries within 12 hours in most instances, and within 48 hours in all instances.

How does ElyPC build computers?
There is a multi-step process that goes into every pc that is built. This process ensures only the highest quality PC is delivered to you. The process is stated below:
* Install requested components
* Professionally wire and install components to allow maximum air flow and quite operation.
* Boot PC and check for errors
* Install Operating System (Later removed for PCs sold without OS)
* Install software and hardware updates
* Perform System Burn-in (Test maximum hardware settings for extended time to ensure stability)
* Professionally package and ship computer
How long does this process take?
ElyPC will normally process your order within 12 hours, but does not guarantee this time due to extenuating factors such as fraudulent orders or orders than are missing information.
The build process typically takes 2 - 7 business days depending on the availability of parts. This process can also be extended due to faulty parts from the manufacturer or errors during setup. ElyPC will never ship you a computer that is not working properly when it leaves the building.
Most orders are shipped to the customer within 7-10 business days. The customer also has the option of paying extra to guarantee faster processing, and an earlier ship date.
Can I contact ElyPC to inquire on the status of my order?
Sure! ElyPC will be able to tell you exactly where your order stands, down to the exact process.
What does the standard ElyPC warranty cover?
ElyPC stands by the parts that we place into your computer. That is why we give a 2 year defective parts warranty standard with every PC. This warranty will either replace your part, or provide a similar part (if the subject part is no longer manufactured). ElyPC will pay the shipping costs back to you. **Please send just the defective part and not the entire PC**
How do I return a defective product?
Please contact ElyPC technical support before returning any items. The support technician will walk you through a short process to ensure that the product is indeed faulty. Once the product is found to be defective, please return the product according to the return policy. Please be sure to include a copy of your original invoice.
What if my pc messes up and I need to have it repaired?
Although ElyPC does everything possible to ensure that your pc comes to you with no problems, we can not guarantee that they will never arise. Our technical support will do everything possible to zero in on the problem area and replace that part, but if replacing parts does not fix the pc, the customer will be responsible for repair costs.
Why doesn't ElyPC repair my computer or pay for repair costs?
ElyPC is able to provide you some of the most affordable computers around by cutting out much of the overhead associated with larger companies. We take several steps to ensure that nothing goes wrong with your computer and to remedy those problems, but we would have to pass on the costs of repairs to the customer in the form of price hikes.
We do offer a variation of the warranty that includes costs of repair. This is slightly higher than the standard warranty, but it is definitely worth the piece of mind.
Can ElyPC upgrade my computer for me?
ElyPC will perform free upgrades for any computer built by ElyPC. The customer will pay the cost of the parts and the cost of shipping both ways. Upgrades include hardware and software.
How does ElyPC's technical support work?
Currently ElyPC only offers technical support via email or messages sent from the website form. Most inquiries will be responded to within 12 hours on weekdays or 24 hours on the weekend. This is not a guarantee. We do guarantee that your inquiry will be responded to within 48 hours. Please note that the normally hours of operation for ElyPC are nights and weekends, and responses will be sent accordingly.
All technical support inquiries will be responded to by a CompTIA A+ Certified Computer Technician.
